Wart Removal
Monday to Friday: 9-12 and 1-3:30 Thursday extended hours 9-12 and 1-6.
The cost for each treatment (not each wart) is $15. You must present a valid health card. The wart clinic operates when the walk-in clinic is open. If the walk-in clinic is closed, the wart clinic is also closed. Click here for walk-in clinic hours.
Please note that it important to get the recommended repetitive treatments. If the wart is not fully removed, it will continue to grow.
Common Questions:
How many treatments will I need? Each individual case is different. Wart removal can take anywhere from 2 to 5 treatments, and sometimes more. The average is 3 to 4 treatments.
When do I come back for the second treatment? You will be told when to come back depending on the severity of the wart(s). Typically you would return 7 to 10 days after the initial treatment. It is important to finish all the recommended treatments. If the treatments are not finished, the wart(s) may return.
Do I have to pay for each wart? No, you pay for each time you come for a treatment. All warts will be addressed at a given treatment.
What do you use to remove the warts? Liquid nitrogen is used to kill the wart.
Is it painful? Most patients feel pain, but others don't mind the treatment.
I have genital warts. Can I come to the wart clinic? No. The wart clinic does not treat genital warts, but they can be addressed at the Downtown Walk-In Clinic.
